20 and in limbo

Yesterday was my 20th birthday. I'm not going to lie, I was really excited to turn 20... except when my dad jokingly tells me that I'm now in Limbo. Meaning I'm no longer a teenager but I'm not an adult yet. He laughed as he said this (meaning he was joking with me) but I really started to think about it and he's right. My best friend Jaime told me I could be twenty-teen and I went with that for about 2 hours until I decided I'm just going to skip 20 all together and go with 21. Yup, so I'm 21... I'm going to go to a resturant and order some sort of alcoholic beverage... this is how i'm envisioning this scenario:

Me: Hi can I have some sort of yummy alcoholic beverage?
Bartender: Sure, do you have ID?
*Hands bartender ID*
Bartender: *Looking at ID* Um miss, you're not 21
Me: Yes I am, I decided to skip being 20 because I don't want to be in Limbo

At this point I believe I will be given what I ask for...virgin. *sigh* Oh well... I'M 20!! That much closer to being an adult! Joy.

My boyfriend, Justin, says I'm an adult. I like that very much btw =] He can always make me feel better. Overall I would say I had a really awesome birthday.

On the 2nd, Justin gave my my gifts, which included the Twilight movie poster (eeeeekkk!!!!), a beautiful collage of pictures of us, three shirts, a yellow dress, and a beautiful handmade sterling silver locket. He also took me to dinner at The Sandbar, which is a nice little restuarant on the beach. The sunset was your typical Florida sunset...Beautiful, with a million different colors.


It was an amazing night, he's just so amazing! After dinner we walked along the beach because we were so full and it was a beautiful night. Being by the beach though it got chilly and I got cold so out walk was cut a little short and I didn't get to take any pictures of us on the beach. So I made up for it in the car and at his house

It's really an amazing feeling knowing that your going to marry this person one day. So he made my night absolutley amazing. Then on my actual birthday I had class and then when I came home my big brother had bought me balloons! My mom had my cake all done and we all got ready to go out to dinner at Carrabba's. Dinner was deliciuos. When we got home Justin came over for cake and presents. After that we watched Finding Nemo. So overall I had an amazing birthday and I loved every second of it.

On another note... today is election day! I voted for the first time!! It was very exciting haha! Make sure you vote!!
