A day to give thanks

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Turkey Day. This year I find that there's a lot I'm thankful for. I'm thankful for my family for always being there for me... even when I make stupid decisions they still haven't disowned me. I'm thankful for my friends... again with that whole disowning thing. I'm thankful for Justin, who makes me happy in every way possible.

This Thanksgiving is going to be hard. You see, my Aunt DD passed away in June and she was a huge part of my family. She lived right down the road and was very much a part of our lives. She was at our house for every holiday and birthday. I know she loved Thanksgiving and my Dad's turkey. I'd never seen an 84 year old woman eat so much before. She always said grace and sat at the head of the table. Where there once was 5... there is now only 4. I miss her all the time but always the most on holidays. On the bright side I have wonderful memories. I just have to remember that. I believe with all my heart that she's close by.

So tomorrow let the ones you love know that you're thankful to have them in your life. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
