453 dollars and a new nickname later....

That's right I did need new tires. I wasn't really surprised, like I said I knew I needed them... actually it was pretty much imperative that I got them on Saturday... let's just say it wasn't safe to drive on my old ones. But let me start at the beginning: promptly at 7 am my phone rang, what did I do? I silenced that beast! I didn't know what I was doing... honest! No worries though, 2 minutes later it rang again and that time I answered it. Dragging myself out of bed was hard, I was nice and toasty warm... I even had company! That's right, Fred kept me company.

Isn't he the cutest thing?

Anyways, when I got to Olinn Mott my man had coffee waiting for me! Ohhhh yes, that's right, I'm one of those poor, sad individuals. My name is Katie.... and I'm addicted to coffee. We left my car there and Justin and I went on over to the hair dressers so he could get his hair cut. Michelle is a wonderful woman (looks just like Cameron Diaz just shorter with long curly red hair) she even trimmed his beard up for me (he kept forgetting his trimmer at home in Bradenton)... I was very thankful to say the least! Meanwhile the guy from Olinn Mott called and said that yes I needed new tires, I told him I wasn't going to be able to get them today but if he could please give me some estimates I'd appreciate it. When Justin was done I told him that I was going to be needing tires but I wasn't going to be able to afford them right away. He called the place back to get the estimates and told me they were going to cost 100 each. We talked about it a bit and I told Justin I'd probably be able to get two but I wouldn't be able to get the other two plus my oil change (they also changed my air filter). I had this bad feeling that he was going to buy the other two. Low and behold while we were sitting at breakfast he said he had to use the restroom and really went and called Olinn Mott back and said to put the tires on. When he came back and told me I started crying because I was pretty sure he couldn't afford to buy me two tires. After much reassuring I felt better. After breakfast my car still wasn't done so he took me to this place called "The Guitar Center" Basically it was a music store that mostly focused on guitars. They had walls and walls of them.

They also had pianos so I got to play for a little while. I haven't played a piano since I think junior year of high school, I forgot how much I missed it.

When my car was done we decided to go back to the apartment and regroup. Mostly decided what we wanted to do... well that didn't get done. Once we got back, Justin climbed in bed and fell asleep. I climbed in too and slept for maybe 2 hours... he slept for another 3. By the time he woke up it was a little after 5. I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed because he slept the whole day away. But then again he worked the day before and then 11pm to 7am, so then I was mad at myself for being mad at him because it wasn't his fault. But being a girl (and having my mother's temper) the night started off a little rocky. Our reservation for dinner was at 7:15 and walking up to the restaurant I wasn't happy, he apologized many times and then my Dad's reasoning kicked in and I let it go.

Once we got our table Justin asked our waitress if there were flowers in the back (he had ordered me roses and had them delivered to the restaurant!) she said yes, they were supposed to be sitting on the table for me. One of the hostesses was walking by at that time and heard the conversation, she asked Justin if he was Matthew Potter. He said no and told her that he ordered roses for me. He then proceeded to describe them in detail and she said that that's what she had in the back but it had a unique card... she asked if he put a nickname in the card. "No," he said, "it just had one word in it. Does it have one word?" she couldn't remember so she went to get the card and handed it to him to read. He read part of it and told her no that it wasn't his card but the flowers where exactly what he ordered (she brought them out when she went to get the card). The woman let him keep the card, "so he could call and complain"... we thanked her and she left... that's when we read the card. It read something along the lines of: "To the most wonderful, incredible person in the world. By knowing you, you've enriched my life beyond my wildest dreams..." (And here's the best part) "You are the sexiest uwfy-pooh. Love, Matt" ......yeeeeeah we lost it. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. But anyways, here's some pictures from our date!

Our first picture of the night. He looked so handsome in his red shirt and black tie

I LOVED my roses!

Our waitress was awesome, she took this one for us

We weren't going to get dessert but out waitress insisted since it was our anniversary, she took it upon herself and gave us one for free! Lemon cookies.... they were really good

A kiss to seal the night!

And there you have it! One year, and many more to come!
